Heiberg Estates Charity Gala Concert - 11 August 2007

It was with much excitement that the first Heiberg Estates sponsored
Gala Concert took place on the 11th of August. Two shows were presented
at the UNISA ZK Matthews Great Hall, featuring some of South Africa's
top and leading performing artists. Well known and acclaimed singers,
Laurika Rauch, Jannie Moolman, Rina Hugo and Mathys Roets enchanted the
audience with music ranging from light classical to popular love songs
and jazzy items. The artists were accompanied by a full Symphony
Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Graham Scott. Nico Panagio, from
7de Laan fame, dazzled admirers in his role as Master of Ceremonies.

All proceeds went to acknowledged charity organizations, appointed by
an independent panel representing the broader community. Further, 940
tickets were made available to various charity instances such as old
age homes and children's homes. Through the gift of music, Heiberg
Estates will continue contributing to the upliftment of South Africans
from various walks of life, and is looking forward to present a similar
event in 2008.
